As a Mailroom Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distributing packages, and maintaining accurate records.
As a backup Receptionist you will cover lunch breaks and absences for the current receptionist of a busy law firm.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate departments or individuals - Prepare outgoing mail, including labeling and packaging - Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages - Operate office equipment such as postage meters, copiers, and scanners - Assist with inventory management of office supplies and materials - Coordinate with couriers and delivery services to ensure timely delivery of mail and packages - Assist with other administrative tasks as needed - Provide backup receptionist coverage during lunch or in the absence of other team members
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a mailroom or receptionist is preferred - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office - Familiarity with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and postage meters - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Job Type:
